Inspiration

I work under the motto “Shooting for Harmony,” with a specific story or feeling behind every photo. The title says a lot, but the choice of print medium, frame, and size also plays a key role in the final expression.

Below, I’ve shared a few thoughts behind some of the works.

I never use Photoshop to alter or manipulate my photos.

However, I do make basic adjustments like removing dust, fine-

tuning brightness or contrast, or correcting minor distractions.

What you see is what I saw through the lens.

A Summer Night in the Woods

This photo was created to evoke a dreamy, almost fairytale-like feeling - perfect for a bedroom wall. Imagine yourself in a forest at night, surrounded by towering mushrooms. The setting is Sweden, where in midsummer the sun never truly sets.

This image is best appreciated in large format (minimum 100 cm on the long side) to fully convey the atmosphere and power of the forest.

Thirsty?

“Thirsty?” is a macro photograph of a fresh glass of water set within a lush, green environment. It symbolises both humanity’s fundamental need for clean water and our deep connection to the natural world. The image is intended as a beautiful, calming yet urgent reminder of the worlds water crisis.

The freshness of the water with its minute bubbles is best shown in a large format. To show the depth and gorgeous shades of green, the photo is mounted under plexiglass.

Leafy Ladders

Extreme close-up nature photography reveals the intricate beauty of our everyday surroundings. This image showcases the fine structure of leaves - like gentle ladders in green.

It’s best enjoyed in a large-format print, where the textures come alive. Shades of green are known to have a calming, restorative effect - a peaceful work of art suitable in a bathroom or other relax area.

A Well Balanced Martini

Odd numbers and symmetry often appeal to our senses - just like a well-balanced martini. Here, three martini glasses reflect in a pane of glass alongside the sky. This photo was technically demanding: the goal was to eliminate all unwanted reflections and to turn the sky into a rich, black background.

To preserve the depth and clarity, I prefer this piece mounted under plexiglass.

The Tomato Tree

I would love to pick ripe tomatoes from a full-grown tomato tree. Since such a tree doesn’t exist, I created one. This is not a Photoshop product, but a real, carefully arranged composition of tomatoes.

With its bright, cheerful colors, this photo can bring joy to almost any space. It’s another example of a piece best presented in a large format with a plexiglass mount.

Ripe with Colour

With a background in culinary arts, I’m drawn to the natural beauty of fruits and vegetables. Nature truly knows how to dazzle with color. The paintbrush was added just for fun - there’s nothing to improve here.

A black frame enhances the richness of the reds.

Portrait of a Mushroom

I love capturing portraits of nature, especially in the soft light of morning or evening. Whether it’s a close-up of a hunting bird, a busy ant, or a mushroom, each image reveals details not easily seen with the naked eye and tells its own story.

What story does this one tell you? To me, it’s a mother tenderly cradling her child.

Though the tones are dark, a light passepartout adds a gentle lift and balance to the composition.

Sunset Zen

Captured at sunset in the Stockholm archipelago, this photo aims to convey a quiet, meditative moment. I had no gear on hand, so I improvised: the “reflection” is an illusion created by the stems of two wine glasses.

Perfect for a bedroom wall—calming, soft, and peaceful.

Hot Smoking Temptation

Eve’s apple - smoking hot. What began as a planned shoot of a candle being lit as an apple turned into something unexpected. When I blew the candle out, a dramatic cloud of smoke formed. I quickly captured the moment—and realized it told a much more intriguing story.

This photo works equally well in large and small formats. Vivid and playful, it suits many interiors and shines under plexiglass or in a slim frame.
